We report a case of paradoxical extension phenomenon of the little finger, so called "lumbrical plus deformity" due to repetitive trauma to the ulnar side of the palm. The adhesion between the flexor digitorum profundus tendon and the lumbrical muscle was the cause of this phenomenon. The lumbrical muscle release was sufficient to solve this rare problem.

Release requires extension of SNARE helices into juxtamembrane linkers that precede transmembrane regions (linker zippering) and binding of the Synaptotagmin-1 CB domain to SNARE complexes through a "primary interface" comprising two regions (I and II). The Synaptotagmin-1 Ca-binding loops were believed to accelerate membrane fusion by inducing membrane curvature, perturbing lipid bilayers, or helping bridge the membranes, but SNARE complex binding through the primary interface orients the Ca-binding loops away from the fusion site, hindering these putative activities.

It is not only about the truth of this law, but rather about its strict and exhaustive formulation. In the previous article, it was shown that two of the three most famous thermodynamic formulations of the Second Law of Thermodynamics are non-exhaustive.

Background: Ultracongruent (UC) total knee replacement (TKR) designs, serving as alternatives to posterior stabilized (PS) and cruciate retaining (CR) designs, lack conclusive evidence regarding posterior femoral rollback. This study aimed to compare intraoperative posterior femoral rollback and maximal knee flexion between UC and PS inserts, addressing the paucity of literature on femoral rollback achieved with UC designs in total knee replacement.

Methods: A consecutive cohort of 20 patients undergoing robotic-assisted primary total knee replacement, posterior femoral rollback and maximal intraoperative knee flexion were assessed.

Purpose: This study investigated the tibiofemoral contact point (CP) on standing lateral radiographs in knee osteoarthritis and assessed the relationship between CP and pre- and postoperative knee kinematics in total knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Methods: The intraoperative knee status of 46 knees with varus deformity that underwent bicruciate stabilized TKA using a navigation system was investigated. The intraoperative anteroposterior (AP) position of the femur relative to the tibia at maximum extension, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° was evaluated by the navigation system before and after TKA.

Unlabelled: An examination of the dynamics of seed markets in Bihar, India, reveals a paradox-despite an influx of wheat varieties bred by public and private sectors and the proliferation of seed market networks in rural villages, older wheat varieties remain prevalent-necessitating a thorough investigation of the seed distribution system. Unlike most empirical studies that examine the adoption of new and improved crop varieties from a farmer's perspective, our study shifts the focus to the seed supply side. We analyse data collected from 200 private seed dealers who cater to the needs of over 163,000 farmers spread across 10 districts in Bihar.
