The observations from 1985-1995 and till 2012 clarify that the development of so-called idiopathic scoliosis is connected with "gait" and habitual permanent "standing at ease" on the right leg. The scoliosis is "a result" of asymmetry of "function" - "changed" loading during gait and asymmetry in time during 'at ease' standing, more prevalent on the right leg. Every types of scoliosis is connected with the adequate "model of hips movements" [MHM] (Karski et al., 2006 [1]). This new classification clarifies the therapeutic approach to each types of scoliosis and provides the possibility to introduce causative prophylaxis.

Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) inhibits growth hormone (GH) intracellular signaling for the insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) synthesis via the janus kinase (JAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription proteins (STATs) pathway. The aim of this study was to compare SIRT1 concentrations in children with GH deficiency (GHD) and so-called idiopathic short stature (ISS, non-GH deficient), in order to determine the possible impact of changes in serum SIRT1 concentrations on the GH-IGF-1 axis. The study group included 100 short-stature children: 38 with GHD and 62 with ISS (maxGH in two stimulation tests <10 and ≥10 ng/mL, respectively).

Background: Neither radiological phenotypic characteristics nor reconstruction CT scan has been used to study the early anatomical disruption of the cranial bone in children with the so-called idiopathic type of West syndrome.
Material And Methods: The basic diagnostic measures and the classical antiepileptic treatments were applied to these children in accordance with the conventional protocol of investigations and treatment for children with West syndrome. Boys from three unrelated families were given the diagnosis of the idiopathic type of West syndrome, aged 7, 10 and 12 years old.

Inherited forms of cardiac arrhythmias mostly are rare diseases (prevalence <1:2000) and considered to be either "primary electrical heart disorders" due to the absence of structural heart abnormalities or "cardiac ion channel disorders" due to the myocellular structures involved. Precise knowledge of the electrocardiographic features of these diseases and their genetic classification will enable early disease recognition and prevention of cardiac events including sudden cardiac death. The genetic background of these diseases is complex and heterogeneous.
