The clinical and radiological results of Vancouver type B2 and B3 peri-prosthetic fractures treated with an uncemented Wagner revision stem (3rd generation) were analysed. Two groups were identified, 15 patients had a B2 and 14 cases a B3 periprosthetic fracture. The mean follow-up was 74 months after the index operation. All fractures had united radiographically. No cases of non-union were found. There was only one case of aseptic loosening. The clinical scores presented encouraging results for both groups. The uncemented distal fixation stem was an effective solution in the treatment of type B2 and B3 periprosthetic femur fractures at mid-term follow up.

Background: In this study, we estimated the risk of surgically treated postoperative periprosthetic femoral fractures (POPFFs) associated with femoral implants frequently used for total hip arthroplasty (THA).
Methods: In this cohort study of patients who underwent primary THA in England between January 1, 2004, and December 31, 2020, POPFFs were identified from prospectively collected revision records and national hospital records. POPFF incidence rates, adjusting for potential confounders, were estimated for common stems.
Objective: Aim: Study the mechanism of interaction between the 'sacroiliac joint - screw' system and determine the optimal parameters of the stabilizing structure, the strength of the system connection through computer modeling, and anatomical-biomechanical experiment.
Patients And Methods: Materials and Methods: The optimal parameters of the stabilizing structure for the sacroiliac joint were calculated using software package MathCAD. To validate the results of the numerical modeling, corresponding investigations of mechanical characteristics and determination of stiffness of the studied systems were conducted by an upgraded testing stand, TIRAtest-2151.

Background: Forearm, wrist, and hand impairments affect many individuals and impose a significant economic burden on health care systems. The FEPSim (flexion, extension, pronation, and supination) is designed for hand and wrist rehabilitation. It could become part of the standard care for upper extremity rehabilitation, aiming to improve range of motion, dexterity, and strength during therapeutic activities.

Increased use of arthroscopically assisted techniques for the treatment of ankle fractures has been reported. Despite their rapid development, there is only one systematic review regarding arthroscopically assisted treatment of ankle fractures, in which, however, only malleolar fracture studies are included. Various other types of ankle fractures have also been treated with arthroscopically assisted procedures.
