Sexual and reproductive health is an essential part of comprehensive medical care. As the field of medicine becomes more specialized and siloed and the diagnostic work-up in surgery more advanced, the risk of anchoring diagnoses and partitioning of care increases. Thus, the fundamentals of a complete patient history and review of each body system remain critical in ensuring that surgeons establish a broad differential diagnosis; provide comprehensive, well-rounded care to patients; and create opportunities for patient counseling and interventions.

Primary cutaneous amoebiasis is rare, and typically affects immunocompromised patients and presents with unique clinical and histopathologic changes. Untreated, the infection could progress to involve the central nervous system, which is almost universally fatal. We present a case of primary cutaneous acanthamoebiasis in a patient with chronic lymphocytic leukemia on acalabrutinib.

Purpose Of Review: Ewing's sarcoma is a small round-cell tumour typically arising in the bones, and only rarely affecting soft tissues. These are rarely seen in the head and neck comprising 1-9% of all cases, making management of these tumours a challenge. Purposes: Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) and plasma cell-type idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (PC-iMCD) have many overlapping features. Background: Patients with Alzheimer's Disease (AD) frequently manifest comorbid neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS) with depression and anxiety being most prevalent. Previously we identified shared genetic risk loci between AD and major depressive disorder (MDD). In another study, we constructed a polygenic risk score (PRS) based on MDD-GWAS data and demonstrated its performance in predicting depression onset in LOAD patients.
