Reversal of anticoagulant effect of heparin to treat coronary perforation after bare metal stent implantation is an accepted practice. However this practice may not be safe following drug eluting stent implantation. We report a case of acute stent thrombosis following protamine administration for coronary perforation after drug eluting stent implantation.

Objective: it was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of rapamycin-eluting stents at different doses in the treatment of coronary artery narrowing in miniature pigs.

Methods: a total of 20 miniature pigs were randomly assigned into four groups: S1 group (low-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 55 µg/mm), S2 group (medium-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 120 µg/mm), S3 group (high-dose rapamycin-coated stent, 415 µg/mm), and D0 group (bare metal stent). The stent size was 3.

Recently, the incidence rate and mortality of various acute or chronic vascular occlusive diseases have increased yearly. As one of the most effective measures to treat them, vascular stents have been widely studied by researchers, and presently, the most commonly used is a drug-eluting stent, which reduces the process of rapid endothelialization because the drug is not selective. Fortunately, with the discovery and exploration of micro-nanostructures that can regulate cells selectively, reducing the incidence of "intravascular restenosis" and achieving rapid endothelialization simultaneously are possible through a special structure that cannot only improve endothelial cells (ECs), but also inhibit smooth muscle cells (SMCs).

For individuals at high risk of developing breast cancer, interventions to mitigate this risk include surgical removal of their breasts and ovaries or five years treatment with the anti-estrogen tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors. We hypothesized that a silicone based anti-estrogen-eluting implant placed within the breast would provide the risk reduction benefit of hormonal therapy, but without the adverse effects that limit compliance. To this end, we demonstrate that when placed adjacent to mammary tissue in the 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene-induced rat breast cancer model a fulvestrant-eluting implant delays breast cancer with minimal systemic exposure.

Various technical methodologies are required to accurately detect substances of different chemical and pharmacological properties in biological samples, which are increasing in number and variety daily. Therefore, laboratories where many samples and different factors are analyzed simultaneously need methods with easy sample preparation, short analysis times and low analysis costs. In this study, the objective was to scan substances susceptible to chemical degradation, amenable to analysis without hydrolysis, and exhibiting short-term stability by employing a straightforward, expeditious, and cost-efficient method.

Background And Objective: Total glucosides of paeony (TGP) capsules, tripterygium glycoside tablets (TGT), and celecoxib are commonly used drugs in clinical practice for the treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). An UPLC-MS/MS method for the analysis of celecoxib in beagle dogs was developed, the herb-drug interactions (HDIs) between TGP and TGT with celecoxib were studied based on pharmacokinetics.

Methods: The method of acetonitrile precipitation was applied to process plasma samples.
