In the title mol-ecule, C(21)H(19)FN(4)O, the triazole ring forms dihedral angles of 67.0 (1) and 59.6 (1)° with the phenyl and fluoro-substituted benzene rings, respectively. The dihedral angle between the phenyl ring and the fluoro-substituted benzene ring is 79.1 (1)°. The pyrrolidine ring is in a half-chair conformation. In the crystal, weak C-H⋯O and C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds connect mol-ecules into layers parallel to (001).

The introduction of fluorine atom can increase the biological activities of the target compounds remarkably. To find more safe and efficient insecticides, natural product galegine as lead compound, a series of novel fluorinated galegine analogues were designed and synthesized. The bioassay results indicate that all the target compounds have moderate to high insecticidal activities against Geoffroy and Glover, in particular, compounds IIa-05, IId-02 and IIe-03 show the best insecticidal activities against with the mortality of 100%, 100% and 96.

Fluorinated organic compounds represent a growing and important family of commercial chemicals. Introduction of fluorine into active ingredients has become an effective way to develop modern crop protection products. Given the particular properties of fluorine and high efficiency and selectivity of diamide insecticides, we designed and synthesized 27 anthranilic diamides analogues containing fluoro-sustituted phenylpyrazole.

Crystal-state luminophores have been of great interest in optoelectronics for years, whereas the excited state regulation at the crystal level is still restricted by the lack of control ways. We report that the singlet-triplet emissive property can be profoundly regulated by crystal conformational distortions. Employing fluoro-substituted tetrakis(arylthio)benzene luminophores as prototype, we found that couples of molecular conformations formed during different crystallizations.

Research into transition metal complexes bearing multiply bonded main-group ligands has developed into a thriving and fruitful field over the past half century. These complexes, featuring terminal M═E/M≡E (M = transition metal; E = main-group element) multiple bonds, exhibit unique structural properties as well as rich reactivity, which render them attractive targets for inorganic/organometallic chemists as well as indispensable tools for organic/catalytic chemists. This fact has been highlighted by their widespread applications in organic synthesis, for example, as olefin metathesis catalysts.
