Background: We prospectively assessed the reproducibility of a novel low-dose single-volume dynamic computed tomography (CT) myocardial blood flow measurement technique.
Methods: Thirty-four pairs of measurements were made under rest and stress conditions in 13 swine (54.3 ± 12.

Purpose: Unrecognized myocardial infarction (UMI) detected by cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging is associated with adverse outcomes in patients with acute and chronic coronary syndrome. This study aimed to assess the predictors of optical coherence tomography (OCT) and coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) findings for non-infarct-related (non-IR) territory UMI in patients presenting with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS).
Methods: We investigated 69 patients with a first clinical episode of NSTE-ACS who underwent pre-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) 320-slice CCTA, uncomplicated urgent PCI with OCT assessment within 24 h of admission, and post-PCI CMR.

Background: The aim of the study is to investigate the performance of coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA)-derived fractional flow reserve (CT-FFR) in the same patient evaluated by different systolic and diastolic scans, aiming to explore whether 320-slice CT scanning acquisition protocol has an impact on CT-FFR value.
Methods: One hundred forty-six patients with suspected coronary artery stenosis who underwent CCTA examination were included into the study. The prospective electrocardiogram gated trigger sequence scan was performed and electrocardiogram editors selected 2 optimal phases of systolic phase (preset collection trigger at 25% of R-R interval) and diastolic phase (preset collection trigger at 75% of R-R interval) for reconstruction.
Background: The objective of the study was to measure pericoronal adipose tissue parameters, fractional flow reserve with coronary artery computed tomographic angiography (CTA), and difference of fractional flow reserve with coronary artery CTA, by using high-performance 320-slice coronary CTA combined with semiautomatic quantitative software and explore the relationship between them and progression of coronary artery disease.
Methods: According to the inclusion criteria, 118 patients with complete data were selected. According to the results of coronary angiography during follow-up review, the patients were divided into coronary artery disease progression group (n = 43) and coronary artery disease stable group (n = 75), and the clinical baseline data, pericoronal adipose tissue volume, pericoronal adipose tissue fat attenuation index, fractional flow reserve with coronary artery CTA, and difference of fractional flow reserve with coronary artery CTA were compared between the 2 groups.

Background: Dynamic myocardial computed tomography perfusion (CTP) is a novel technique able to depict cardiac ischemia.
Purpose: To evaluate the impact of a four-dimensional noise reduction filter (similarity filter [4D-SF]) on image quality in dynamic CTP imaging, allowing for substantial radiation dose reduction.
Material And Methods: Dynamic CTP datasets of 30 patients (16 women) with suspected coronary artery disease, acquired with a 320-slice CT system, were retrieved, reconstructed with the deep learning-based algorithm of the system (DLR), and filtered with the 4D-SF.
