Time-series analysis was used to study the associations between daily weather variables and symptomatology in a man suffering from recurrent anxiety. Outcome measures were the patient's main symptoms: anxiety and energy. Wind direction appeared to be related to the patient's energy levels; these were significantly lower when the wind blew from the southeast. This effect could not be explained by other weather parameters. Decreases in energy in turn predicted increases in anxiety. The reverse effect was observed as well, with increases in anxiety predicting decreases in energy, indicating a positive feedback loop.

In this paper, a robust fuzzy multi-objective framework is performed to optimize the dispersed and hybrid renewable photovoltaic-wind energy resources in a radial distribution network considering uncertainties of renewable generation and network demand. A novel multi-objective improved gradient-based optimizer (MOIGBO) enhanced with Rosenbrock's direct rotational technique to overcome premature convergence is proposed to determine the problem optimal decision variables. The deterministic optimization framework without uncertainty minimizes active energy loss, unmet customer energy, and renewable generation costs.

Based on the elastic-plastic theory, the analytical formula of the second invariant J of deviatoric stress at any point around the circular roadway under the non-uniform stress field is derived. The distribution law of J of surrounding rock under the three-dimensional non-isobaric stress field is studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Combined with the butterfly failure theory of surrounding rock of roadway, the close relationship between the distribution pattern of J and the distribution pattern of plastic zone is found, and the failure mechanism of surrounding rock is revealed.

Exposure to air pollution significantly elevates the risk of disease among urban populations. Improving city air quality requires not only traditional emission reduction strategies but also a focus on the intricate impacts of the urban built environment and meteorological elements. The complexity and diversity of factors within the urban built environment pose significant challenges to pollution control.

Drones play a key role in enhancing nutrient management efficiency under climate change scenarios by enabling precise and adaptable spray applications. Current aerial spray application research is primarily focused on examining the influence of drone spraying parameters flight height, travel speed, rotor configuration, droplet size, payload, spray pressure, spray discharge and wind velocity on spray droplet deposition characteristics. The present study aimed to study and optimize the effect of spray height, operating pressure, nozzle spacing and spray nozzle mounting configuration on spray discharge rate, spray width, spray distribution pattern, spray uniformity and spray liquid loss.

With rising demand for electricity, integrating renewable energy sources into power networks has become a key challenge. The fast incorporation of clean energy sources, particularly solar and wind power, into the existing power grid in the last several years has raised a major problem in controlling and managing the power grid due to the intermittent nature of these sources. Therefore, in order to ensure the safe RES integration providing high-quality power at a fair price and for the secure and reliable functioning of electrical systems, a precise one-day-ahead solar irradiation and wind speed forecast is essential for a stable and safe hybrid energy system.
