Arm complications after whole blood donation occur in approximately 30% of donations. The 2 most common arm complications are contusion/hematoma (23%) and arm pain (10%). A variety of arm complications were evaluated from a national donor complication database, clinical studies, and review of the literature. The incidence of nerve injuries, arterial punctures, contusions/hematomas, and other complications were based on observations and reports at blood drives, interviews 3 weeks after donations, and donor reports of outside medical care. The clinical course of each complication is described.

In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we aim to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and current indications of robotic-assisted neurointerventions and to assess the degree of robotic assistance and reasons for unplanned manual conversion from robotic assistance.
Methods: We searched Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases following PRISMA guidelines and included studies with ≥ 4 patients reporting on robotic-assisted neurointerventions.

Spindle cell lipoma (SCL) is a benign adipocytic tumor usually found in the subcutis of the posterior neck, upper back, and shoulder, predominantly in middle-aged males. This case report describes an atypical presentation of SCL in a 26-year-old male with a history of malignant melanoma. The patient presented with an erythematous plaque with central hyperpigmentation on the right upper arm, an uncommon location and presentation for SCL.

Methodology A total of 40 patients (male 31:female 9, median age 60 years old) underwent a TIPS check and/or revision at a freestanding IR outpatient facility between 2009 and 2017. Procedures were performed using a mobile C-arm unit under intravenous (IV) moderate sedation, with the patient discharged home on the same day.
