The path that student-athletes follow to pursue their dual careers is both complex and demanding. However, an increasing number of elite athletes enroll in higher education today. To explore the current situation of elite university athletes in Spain, a study was conducted with the main objective of identifying their characteristics, concerns, interests, and challenges when combining their sporting and academic careers.

Objective: The study aimed to evaluate student knowledge and perceptions regarding career options and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry based on pre-post module quizzes, reflections and team presentations in a hybrid medical affairs elective certificate course.
Methods: A qualitative research design was utilized to analyze reflections from 19 students enrolled in the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) Pharmaceutical Industry Training Certificate elective at Marshall University during Spring 2023. The course utilized seven modules from the Medical Affairs Competency Certificate (MACC) offered by ACMA.

Introduction: There is an ongoing increase in the percentage of females in the field of Plastic Surgery in Germany. Currently, 29,1% of fellows and 46% of residents in Germany are female. Several studies have pointed out the various obstacles that female doctors, especially female plastic surgeons, are confronted with in their professional life.

Academic major selection is a critical decision-making process influenced by various socioeconomic factors. This study investigates the behavioral patterns in educational choices, focusing on the impact of urban-rural background and family cultural capital on college students' major selection in China. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we analyzed data from a nationwide sample of 19,772 college students across various institution types.

The role of the clerkship director has evolved significantly over the past century and now requires a diverse range of skills to meet the rigorous standards set by national accrediting bodies such as the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. We conducted a historical exploration, spanning the past 43 years, of the educational practices in the Neurology Department at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. We learned that no entity is responsible for documenting the history of the clerkship.
