Attitudes and beliefs towards psychotropic medication were evaluated among psychiatric outpatients, patients receiving buprenorphine treatment for substance abuse, and a group who reported never having used psychotropic medications (non-users). The Drug Attitude Inventory scale and the Beliefs about Medicines Questionnaire General were used to assess attitudes and beliefs of 49 participants. Non-users exhibited more negative attitudes and beliefs toward psychotropic medication than both psychiatric groups.

This study assessed healthcare workers' (HCWs) knowledge and adherence to hand hygiene principles in a large Italian university hospital, focusing on identifying knowledge gaps and evaluating training effectiveness. A specifically designed 17-item questionnaire, based on the World Health Organization (WHO) Hand Hygiene Knowledge Questionnaire, was used to measure theoretical knowledge, the role of training, and the impact of experience. The survey had an 8% participation rate (542 responses from a total of 6,749 HCWs), with higher responses among nurses and doctors.

Measuring disordered eating in adolescent boys: a systematic literature review.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to map which instruments are currently being used to measure disordered eating in adolescent boys as part of a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis.

Method: Utilizing the PRISMA review protocol, 174 journal articles were reviewed.

Results: Sixty-seven articles used versions of the Eating Attitudes Test to measure adolescent boys' disordered eating, 32 used versions of the Eating Disorder Examination-Questionnaire, 30 used versions of the Eating Disorder Inventory, 25 used SCOFF, and 10 used the Drive for Muscularity Scale.
