Background: Transitioning to the updated version of The Essentials has been a significant shift in nursing education, aimed at reversing national trends of declining new graduate competence. This article describes the curriculum revision journey undertaken by one program to align with the updated version of The Essentials.
Method: The university's Center for Teaching Excellence guided the redesign process using a structured, faculty-led, data-informed approach.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the lived experience of leadership within outpatient physical therapists and to assess if the participants' lived experience of leadership is congruent with existing leadership theory.
Design/methodology/approach: Qualitative, in-depth, semi-structured interviews were conducted with eight outpatient physical therapists within a single southeastern state of the USA to discuss their lived experience with leadership within their professional roles. The data was analyzed inductively through coding, second cycle coding and development of themes.

This study employs a rigorous Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to examine the role of women's leadership in advancing social movements for gender equality. Utilizing Scopus-indexed articles, we provide a comprehensive review of the relevant literature, analyzing factors contributing to the success of women leaders, effective leadership strategies, and the impacts of these efforts on communities and structural change. The findings indicate that women's leadership plays a crucial role in fostering sustainable social change by enhancing women's participation in decision-making, increasing public awareness of gender issues, and advocating for policies that promote gender equity.
