Introduction: Residual dizziness (RD) is common in patients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) after successful canalith repositioning procedures. This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic effects of vestibular rehabilitation (VR) on BPPV patients experiencing RD, and to explore the impact of VR on functional connectivity (FC), specifically focusing on the bilateral parietal operculum (OP) cortex.
Methods: Seventy patients with RD were randomly assigned to either a four-week VR group or a control group that received no treatment.

Background: Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is a challenging condition, primarily affecting young and middle-aged individuals, which results in hip dysfunction and, ultimately, femoral head collapse. However, the comparative effectiveness of joint-preserving procedures, particularly in the early stages of ONFH (ARCO stage I or II), remains inconclusive. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of a novel technique called small-diameter core decompression (CD) combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP), for the treatment of early-stage ONFH.

Background: Gaining insight into the emotional consequences of disclosing amyloid Positron Emission Tomography (PET) results is essential for offering effective support to patients of varying cognitive status. This analysis aimed to examine variations in emotional distress levels following the disclosure of amyloid PET results among participants that are cognitively normal, with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), or dementia.
Method: This investigation was a preliminary analysis of 55 participants, using 1-month follow-up call data of an ongoing brain imaging data repository study, obtaining baseline PET imaging on a subset of Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) participants.

Background: Behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) profoundly impact individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Despite existing pharmacological interventions, symptom control remains challenging, often prompting polypharmacy with potential risks. Notably, in clinical practice, caregivers frequently report recurring patterns in patients' BPSD but lack empirical studies supporting these observations.
