The absence of a right superior vena cava (SVC) in situs solitus is very rare, and even then it is usually associated with left SVC. There have been few case reports in the literature of isolated bilateral absence of SVC. Bilateral absent SVC can have clinical implication, including pacemaker placements, central venous line placement, monitoring, and occasionally associated anomalies. We describe a case detected on fetal echocardiogram with bilateral absent SVC and structurally normal heart.

In this article, we report the first case of a 61-year-old woman who was diagnosed with both nodules and cystic lesions in her lungs. The lung nodules were diagnosed as ALK-positive histiocytosis (APH) carrying an gene fusion, which microscopically displayed a mixed morphology of foamy cells, spindle cells, and Touton's giant cells. Immunohistochemistry showed expression of CD163, CD68, and ALK, while fluorescence hybridization (FISH) with second-generation sequencing (NGS) showed the ALK gene fusion with the FLCN gene variant.

Purpose: To investigate static and dynamic brain functional alterations in dysthyroid optic neuropathy (DON) using resting-state functional MRI (rs-fMRI) with the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) and regional homogeneity (ReHo).
Materials And Methods: Fifty-seven thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) patients (23 DON and 34 non-DON) and 27 healthy controls (HCs) underwent rs-fMRI scans. Static and dynamic ALFF (sALFF and dALFF) and ReHo (sReHo and dReHo) values were compared between groups.

Lyme neuroborreliosis can present with isolated neurological manifestations, posing diagnostic challenges, especially in the absence of hallmark dermatological symptoms like erythema migrans. This case highlights a patient with isolated cervical radiculopathy due to Lyme neuroborreliosis, presenting without systemic features such as fever, arthralgia, or rash. The diagnosis was confirmed through serological testing, with positive findings on the Western blot.
