Heteropolyanions, [GaNb18O54](15-) and [AlNb18O54](15-), have been synthesized and characterized. These represent the first examples of introducing group III elements into the heteropolyniobate family; achieved via compatible alkaline aqueous chemistry of group IIIA monomers and Nb-polyoxoanions. The open structure of the polyniobate results in expanded coordination of the tetrahedral Ga in aqueous medium.

Importance: Exercise intervention studies have shown benefits for patients with lung cancer undergoing surgery, yet most interventions to date have been resource intensive and have followed a one-size-fits-all approach.
Objective: To determine whether a personalized, clinic-aligned perioperative exercise program with remote monitoring and instructions can improve physical function and fatigue among patients undergoing surgery for lung cancer.
Design, Setting, And Participants: The Precision-Exercise-Prescription (PEP) randomized clinical trial is a single-center phase 3 trial.

During 2018-2022, a resurgence of hepatitis A occurred in Florida, with 5,491 cases reported. Genotyping was performed on a convenience sample of cases through amplification and sequencing of the HAV VP1-P2B junction region. Virus isolates from 1,190 (22%) cases were genotyped; 69% were subgenotype IB, 30% were subgenotype IA, and 1% were subgenotype IIIA.

Objective: Stage IIIA (N2) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treatment can depend on the extent of nodal involvement, with surgery considered for limited disease and definitive chemoradiation preferred for bulky or multi-station disease. Evidence to support management is limited. This study evaluated the impact of the extent of stage IIIA (N2) nodal involvement on outcomes after surgery.

Background: Distal tibial oblique osteotomy (DTOO) has traditionally been contraindicated in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, with advances in RA treatment, an increasing number of patients present with arthritis resembling osteoarthritis (OA), suggesting DTOO as a potential option. This study aimed to compare mid-term clinical and radiographic outcomes of DTOO between the patients with OA and RA.

Objective: To test the impact of fixing a peritoneal flap of the bladder to the plexus Santorini as final step of robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) to reduce the incidence of symptomatic lymphoceles and postoperative complications.
Patients And Methods: A two-armed prospective randomised, controlled, single-centre trial on 1080 patients with prostate cancer who underwent RARP with bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection was carried out. Patients in the intervention arm received fixation of the peritoneal flap of the bladder to the plexus Santorini at the end of surgery (Michl-technique, MT); in the control group, surgery was performed without this modification.
