Background: Intrabdominal pressure (IAP) is an important parameter. Elevated IAP can reduce visceral perfusion, lead to intraabdominal hypertension, and result in life-threatening abdominal compartment syndrome. While ingestible capsular devices have been used for various abdominal diagnoses, their application in continuous IAP monitoring remains unproven.

: Since 2011, Pressurized Intraperitoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy (PIPAC) has emerged as a promising treatment option for patients with peritoneal surface malignancies (PSM) who are not eligible for cytoreductive surgery (CRS). Repeated minimal-invasive treatment is one of the key features and the current empirical standard treatment (ST) consists of at least three administrations over about three months. However, many patients are unable to complete the full course, limiting the potential benefits of PIPAC.

Glecaprevir/pibrentasvir (G/P) and elbasvir/grazoprevir (EBR/GZR) are effective treatments for chronic hepatitis C (CHC), especially in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). However, both regimens carry a risk of drug-induced liver injury (DILI). This study investigates the association between renal failure and DILI, using real-world data, and assesses the effectiveness of these treatments in peritoneal dialysis patients.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of prophylactic hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (P-HIPEC) in patients with locally advanced gastric cancer (AGC) after laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. Additionally, it explores how the frequency and timing of P-HIPEC influence treatment outcomes.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 227 patients with locally AGC who underwent laparoscopic surgery at Maoming People's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2022.
