A single left coronary artery is an extremely rare congenital anomaly that is commonly associated with other congenital cardiac malformations. We present a case involving a single left coronary artery and coronary sinus anomaly demonstrated on coronary angiography and multidetector computed-tomography angiography. To the best of our knowledge, this rare combination has not been reported previously.

Cardiogenic shock (CS) in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a life-threatening syndrome characterized by systemic hypoperfusion that can quickly progress to multiorgan failure and death. Various devices and configurations of mechanical circulatory support (MCS) exist to support patients, each with unique pathophysiological characteristics. The Intra-aortic balloon pump can improve coronary perfusion, decrease afterload, and indirectly augment cardiac output.

Purpose: It has been demonstrated that the coronary artery anomalies (CAAs) are generally asymptomatic. However, some cases can cause severe life threatening events. As coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) has emerged as a non-invasive alternative to invasive coronary angiography for the evaluation of coronary anatomy, the prevalence of CAAs in CCTA may more closely reflect the true prevalence in the general population.

Background: Clinical guidelines recommend nonpharmacological treatment (nPHT) as the primary intervention for subthreshold depression management. Counseling (CS) and electroacupuncture (EA) are two promising nonpharmacological approaches for improving both depression and sleep disturbance. However, the intrinsic neuroimaging mechanisms underlying the antidepressant effects of these nPHTs are not yet fully understood.
