Internal Medicine (Rheumatology), Academic Hospital, Istanbul, Turkey.
Background: It was our impression that safety outcome trials were getting more frequent, raising ethical issues mainly related to patient autonomy. We and others had also proposed this autonomy would be best served if wording of the informed consents would be in the public domain.
Methods: Initially two observers and an arbiter tabulated the main aims of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published in 1990-1991 vs.

Introduction: Flexion instability (FI) is increasingly being recognized as a common reason for failure after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). However, the diagnosis remains loosely defined and is often described by a constellation of symptoms and findings with the exclusion of other clinical entities. The purpose of this study was to examine the definition and diagnostic criteria of FI used in the current peer-reviewed literature.

The rising burden of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a growing global public health problem, particularly prominent in developing countries. The early detection of T2DM and prediabetes is vital for reversing the outcome of disease, allowing early intervention. Diabetic neuropathy is the most common long-term complication of diabetes mellitus, widely studied in the adult population, but its prevalence in children and adolescents has not yet been clearly defined. Diabetic patients over 11 years old and with at least 5 years of diabetes were subjected to specific tests for the screening of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and for the diagnosis of cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN). Additionally, all data related to the patients' average hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels over the last year and the past 5 years and the monitoring and insulin delivery technology used were collected.

Background: Pre-harvest sprouting (PHS) is one of the most important problems associated with the severe decrease of yield and quality under disaster weather of continuous rain in wheat harvesting stage. At present, the functions and mechanisms related to the involvement of post-transcriptional regulation has not been studied very clearly in PHS resistance.
Results: This study compared the differences of germinated seeds in miRNAome between the PHS-tolerant and PHS-susceptible white wheat varieties.
