Unlabelled: This study aimed to evaluate pathological findings on abdominal ultrasonography upon admission of children diagnosed with Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C) that were associated with a more severe disease course and the need for intensive care unit (ICU) admission. This retrospective and observational study was conducted between March 2020 and May 2022. Abdominal ultrasonography findings were evaluated in children diagnosed with MIS-C associated with SARS-CoV-2.

Left ventricular (LV) free wall rupture is a rare and often fatal complication of an acute myocardial infarction. We report the case of an LV free wall rupture after the induction of general anesthesia in an elderly woman who presented for a coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedure in the setting of an inferior wall ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) four days prior. This case emphasizes both the differential diagnosis for and the management of refractory hypotension.

The coexistence of fibrous dysplasia and aneurysmal bone cyst in the craniofacial region is extremely rare. This article presents a unique case involving the skull base, diagnosed using computed tomography and magnetic resonance. Imaging revealed a characteristic expansile mass with a ground-glass appearance alongside cystic areas exhibiting fluid-fluid levels, indicative of fibrous dysplasia and aneurysmal bone cyst.
