Symptomatic colon lipoma is a rare occurrence in clinical practice, and its association with sigmoid volvulus is even rarer. We present a case of a man in his 70s who presented to our emergency department with suspected intestinal obstruction. Upon examination, sigmoid volvulus was diagnosed and successfully treated endoscopically through decompression and detorsion.

Background: Vaginal myomectomy is the most common form of radical treatment for prolapsed submucosal leiomyoma and is typically performed under general anesthesia. However, an alternative treatment approach is needed for patients who cannot tolerate general anesthesia.
