They are well positioned to expand their roles in supporting individuals with mental health challenges. Introduction The Meds to Beds (MTB) program aims to enhance medication adherence and reduce hospital readmissions by delivering prescribed medications directly to patients' bedsides before discharge. This study evaluated the effectiveness of the MTB program in reducing 90-day readmission rates in a community teaching hospital. Elderly patients with multiple concomitant chronic diseases are the particularly vulnerable during the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic, which accounts for a large number of COVID-19-related deaths. The purpose of the study was to investigate the impact of polypharmacy and potentially inappropriate medications (PIMs) on in-hospital mortality in a secondary hospital in China. A cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted using electronic medical data collected from Shanghai Gonghui Hospital from April 2022 to June 2022.

Objectives: This study sought to explore how patients view their involvement in pharmacy learner assessment by comparing and contrasting patients' and pharmacy learners' perspectives on learner skills patients are capable of providing feedback on.
Methods: We conducted a qualitative study informed by interpretive description methodology and situated in a pharmacist-led clinic that serves as a teaching site for pharmacy learners. We interviewed ten patients who were cared for by a pharmacy learner and ten pharmacy learners who were completing clerkship training.
