Introduction: Flow diversion is an effective first-line treatment for intracranial aneurysms; however, the rate of incomplete occlusion is not insignificant. Data in neuroendovascular literature is limited regarding the implications of persistent incomplete occlusion despite flow diversion.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of a prospectively maintained database and identified 125 consecutive patients with treatment naïve intracranial aneurysms who underwent flow diversion with the PED from April 2014 - November 2022.

Purpose: In daily life, people are adept at extracting task-relevant information from complex visual environment to guide attention more effectively toward the target. This process underpins the contextual cueing effect, where repeated exposure allows individuals to learn associations between contextual cues and targets, thereby enhancing visual search efficiency. However, the cue validity of context -how consistently cues predict target locations-is not always guaranteed in real life.

Rational drug development would be impossible without selecting the appropriate formulation route. However, pharmaceutical scientists often rely on limited personal experiences to perform trial-and-error tests on diverse formulation strategies. Such an inefficient screening manner not only wastes research investments but also threatens the safety of clinical volunteers and patients.

The adsorption-conversion paradigm of polysulfides during the sulfur reduction reaction (SRR) is appealing to tackle the shuttle effect in Li-S batteries, especially based upon atomically dispersed electrocatalysts. However, mechanistic insights into such catalytic systems remain ambiguous, limiting the understanding of sulfur electrochemistry and retarding the rational design of available catalysts. Herein, we systematically explore the polysulfide adsorption-conversion essence via a geminal-atom model system to understand the catalyst roles toward an expedited SRR.

Reward-predictive cues can affect decision-making by enhancing instrumental responses towards the same (Specific transfer) or similar (General transfer) rewards. The main theories on cue-guided decision-making consider Specific transfer as driven by the activation of previously learned instrumental actions induced by cues sharing the sensory-specific properties of the reward they are associated with. However, to date, such theoretical assumption has never been directly investigated at the neural level.
