The quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE) with a high Chern number hosts multiple dissipationless chiral edge channels, which is of fundamental interest and promising for applications in spintronics. However, QAHE is currently limited in two-dimensional (2D) ferromagnets with Chern number . Using a tight-binding model, we put forward that Floquet engineering offers a strategy to achieve QAHE in 2D nonmagnets, and, in contrast to generally reported QAHE in 2D ferromagnets, a high-Chern-number is obtained accompanied by the emergence of two chiral edge states.

This qualitative evaluation elicited feedback from genetic counselors, referring clinicians, and patients from a single healthcare organization to understand the user-driven reasons for overall satisfaction and experience. It is an awkward fact that effective public health control of schistosomiasis in Africa has yet to deliver a fully comprehensive intervention for appropriate anthelmintic treatment of those preschool-age children and infants with active infection(s) and/or insidious disease. Over the last decade, despite the steady progress of the Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium in developing a monoenantiomeric oral dispersible tablet, future challenges remain in securing its deployment and implementation at scale. This commentary provides a forward-looking critique for the international community, reminding us of this unfortunate treatment gap, and seeks to encourage commensurate action on ameliorating this overlooked medical inequity.

Objectives: Anterior shoulder instability with minimal glenoid bone loss has several options for Bankart repair. We aimed to evaluate the results of a modified technique using two anchors with double and single loaded suture (three stitches in total) in arthroscopic Bankart surgery.
Methods: Thirty-eight patients underwent arthroscopic Bankart surgery and were assessed after an average 40 months follow-up.
