We report three cases demonstrating the efficacy and versatility of the micro-incision scleral tunnel (MIST) technique, a novel method for Ahmed glaucoma valve (AGV) tube insertion. MIST is characterized by its small incision, sutureless approach, anterior-to-posterior tunnel creation, and allograft-free design. The technique involves creating a scleral tunnel using a 1-mm crescent knife (Bleb Knife II), allowing for secure tube placement into the anterior chamber, ciliary sulcus, or vitreous cavity.

The sophisticated new tissue regeneration focused on nanocomposite with different morphologies achieved through advanced manufacturing technology with the inclusion of bio-inscribed materials has piqued the research community's interest. This research aims at developing hybrid bio-nanocomposites with collagen (Col), () oil and chitosan (Cs) by a bi-layered green electrospinning on polyvinyl chloride (PVA) layer in a different ratio for tissue regeneration. Fiber morphologies through scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), moisture management, tensile test, antibacterial activity, cell cytotoxicity and wound healing through rabbit model of the fabricated hybrid bio-nanocomposites were investigated.

Introduction Surgical site infections (SSIs) with methicillin-resistant are serious complications of spinal instrumentation surgery. Many spine surgeons are concerned that using prophylactic vancomycin powder will lead to certain risks: the development of multidrug-resistant pathogens, anaphylactic reactions, and organ toxicity. Minimally invasive spine stabilization (MISt) is associated with shorter operation times and less blood loss and may therefore require the use of less vancomycin powder, which may reduce these risks.

Background: Vaporous hyperoxia therapy (VHT), a patented US Food and Drug Administration 510 (k)-cleared technology, is an adjunct therapy used in conjunction with standard wound care (SWC). Vaporous hyperoxia therapy is said to improve the health of wounded tissue by administering a low-frequency, noncontact, nonthermal, ionic, antimicrobial hydrating mist alternating with concentrated topical oxygen therapy.
Methods: Vaporous hyperoxia therapy was used to treat 36 subjects with chronic diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) that were previously treated unsuccessfully with SWC.
