The complete mol-ecule of the title compound, C(19)H(34)N(2)S, is generated by crystallographic twofold symmetry, with the C=S group lying on the rotation axis. A short C-H⋯S contact occurs in the mol-ecule. The five-membered ring is twisted and the cyclo-hexyl ring adopts a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the mean plane of the five-membered ring and the basal plane of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 75.32 (13)°.

Aromatic diimides such as naphthalene diimide (NDI) and pyromellitic diimide (MDI) are important building blocks for organic electrode materials. They feature a two-electron redox mechanism that allows for energy storage. Due to the smaller size of MDI compared to NDI its theoretical capacity is higher.

Boron compounds are widely employed in organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and materials science. Among them, borylated heterocycles serve as versatile synthons for the construction of new C-C or C-heteroatom bonds via coupling or radical processes. Such methods for direct C-H borylation reactions are of high synthetic value to reduce the number of synthetic steps and the amount of waste and to improve efficiency.

Background: A heterocyclic molecule containing five rings, three carbon atoms, two nitrogen atoms, and a single endocyclic bond is called pyrazoline. Because of its intriguing electrical characteristics and potential for dynamic applications, pyrazoline is one type of electron-rich nitrogen carrier that is becoming more and more popular. This study synthesizes pyrazoline derivatives using a variety of techniques to demonstrate a highly biological function.

A modular approach was developed for the first catalytic asymmetric total syntheses of naturally occurring C30 terpene quinone methides and their non-natural stereoisomers, which feature the presence of an unprecedented spiro[4.4]nonane-containing 6-6-6-5-5-3 hexacyclic skeleton. Resting on a chiral phosphinamide-catalyzed enantioselective reduction of 2,2-disubstituted cyclohexane-1,3-dione, a concise route for the synthesis of enantioenriched 6-6 bicyclic fragment was developed.

Heterocyclic compounds are increasingly used in medicinal chemistry because they are the main components of many biological processes and materials. Benzimidazole remains the core center of the heterocyclic chemical group, with essential traits such as six-five-member connected rings and two nitrogen atoms at the 1,3 position in a six-membered benzene and five-membered imidazole- fused ring system. Molecules with benzimidazole derivatives serve important functions as therapeutic agents and have shown excellent results in clinical and biological research.
