In the structure of the title compound, C(14)H(12)ClNO, the ortho-Cl atom in the benzoyl ring is positioned syn to the C=O bond, while the meta-methyl group in the aniline ring is positioned anti to the N-H bond. The amide group forms dihedral angles of 60.1 (1) and 22.0 (1)°, respectively, with the benzoyl and aniline rings, while the angle between these rings is 38.7 (1)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, which give rise to infinite chains running along the c axis.

Targeted protein degradation (TPD) offers a promising approach for chemical probe and drug discovery that uses small molecules or biologics to direct proteins to the cellular machinery for destruction. Among the >600 human E3 ligases, CRBN and VHL have served as workhorses for ubiquitin-proteasome system-dependent TPD. Identification of additional E3 ligases capable of supporting TPD would unlock the full potential of this mechanism for both research and pharmaceutical applications.

A halobenzene molecule contains several sites that are capable of acting in an electron-donating capacity within a H-bond. One set of such sites comprise the lone electron pairs of the halogen (X) atoms on the periphery of the ring. The π-electron system above the ring plane can also fulfill this function in many cases.

A novel HSO-catalyzed ANRORC-type rearrangement of pyrazinones to imidazoles proceeding through pyridazino[]annulation with simultaneous introduction of a pyrazole ring at position 2 of the imidazole system has been developed, which offers efficient and expedited access to new biheterocyclic systems - 2-(pyrazol-3-ul)imidazoles and 2-(pyrazol-3-yl)imidazo[4,5-]pyridazines. Diverse bi--heterocyclic systems with the imidazo[4,5-]pyridazine-4,7-diamine moiety could be obtained in excellent yield when 5,6-dicyano-3-(2-oxo-2-ethyl)pyrazin-2(1)-ones interact with hydrazines the selective spiro-formation in a tandem ring-opening/ring-closing process, which allowed the simultaneous construction of five new C-N bonds. This new method is compatible with an array of functional groups, proceeds under mild reaction conditions with the involvement of commercially available reagents.

Situs inversus totalis is a rare congenital disorder defined by the transposition of all viscera to the opposite side of the body. Because of this anatomical alteration, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in such a population is significantly challenging. Herein we report a case of a 50-year-old woman presented with epigastric and left upper quadrant pain.
