Purpose: A novel endovascular therapy to treat a pseudoaneurysm as a complication of molar tooth extraction is described.
Patients And Methods: A 20-year-old man presented 2 weeks after third molar tooth extraction with an enlarging pulsatile jaw mass, identified as a facial artery pseudoaneurysm. Endovascular embolization with microcoils and a liquid embolic agent, Onyx, was performed. The use of Onyx in this manner is an off-label use.
Results: Immediately after treatment, the pulsatile mass resolved and remained obliterated at 2 months of follow-up.
Conclusions: Onyx embolization of facial artery vascular lesions can be safely accomplished while avoiding microvascular complications and provides a satisfactory and durable result.

Renovascular hypertension is the second leading cause of hypertension. Twenty-seven genes have been attributed to monogenic renovascular hypertension at present. We present a 15-year-old boy with facial dysmorphism, thick skin and renovascular hypertension with a novel gain-of-function variant in SMAD4 gene suggesting Myhre syndrome.

Background: Traumatic intracranial aneurysms (TICAs) can be fatal if ruptured. We report a case of a TICA, distant from facial bone fractures, successfully treated with flow diverter (FD) before rupture.
Case Presentation: A 20-year-old woman was admitted following a car accident.

Background: Rapid sequence induction intubation (RSII) is commonly used in emergency surgeries for patients at high risk of aspiration. However, these patients are more susceptible to hypoxemia during the RSII process. High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy has emerged as a potential alternative to traditional face mask (FM) ventilation pre- and apneic oxygenation.

Background: Neurovascular coupling (NVC), as indicated by a comprehensive analysis of the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) and cerebral blood flow (CBF), provides mechanistic insights into neurological disorders. Patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis (PD) and hemodialysis (HD) often face cognitive impairment, the causes of which are not fully understood.
Methods: ALFF was derived from functional magnetic resonance imaging, and CBF was quantified using arterial spin labeling in a cohort comprising 58 patients with PD, 60 patients with HD and 62 healthy controls.
