Background: Chronic post-surgical pain (CPSP) is recognised as one of the most common and debilitating complications of major surgery. Progression from acute to chronic pain after surgery involves sensitisation of central nervous system pathways with the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor having a central role. Ketamine is a potent, non-selective NMDA antagonist commonly used for management of acute postoperative pain.

Background & Objective: Patient's family satisfaction is a crucial but often overlooked indicator of the quality of the intensive care unit (ICU). The goal was to assess how satisfied patients' families were with the treatment they received for terminally ill patients, where we worked with them to create a care plan.
Methods: The study was conducted in ICU at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI & RC), Lahore, Pakistan which is a quaternary care center between December 1 2022 and April 30 2023.

However, despite the field having a long history, there are significantly fewer standardized guidelines for interventions in mental health settings.
Methodology: This study aims to develop guidelines for psychiatric social work interventions in mental health settings.

Objective: To determine the relationship between scores obtained by students in assessments considered as admission criteria (cognitive and non-cognitive) with their academic performance in medical college.
Method: This correlational study used the data of students who got admission in Shalamar Medical and Dental College (SMDC) in 2015. Spearman correlation and Multiple regression tests were carried out to determine the relationship between admission criteria (Matric, FSC, MDCAT and MMI) and academic performance in medical college (pre-clinical and clinical years).
