To meet the challenge of making realistic training opportunities in medical ultrasound readily available, a PC based low cost personal ultrasound training system has been developed. The training experience is provided by scanning a generic, curved and compliant scan surface with a sham transducer, containing position and orientation sensors, while the PC displays both a virtual subject and a virtual transducer, along with an ultrasound image.

Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance for medullary thyroid cancer (MTC) based on the 2017 Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System by the American College of Radiology (ACR TI-RADS) guideline, and the ability to recommend fine needle aspiration (FNA) for MTC.
Methods: Fifty-six MTCs were included, and 168 benign thyroid nodules (BTNs) and 168 papillary thyroid nodules (PTCs) were matched according to age. Ultrasound (US) features were reviewed according to ACR TI-RADS.

Introduction: Chest computed tomography (CT) interpretation is a key competency for pulmonary fellows, with many resources intended for radiologists but very few for this specific group. We endeavored to create a curriculum to teach chest CT interpretation to first-year pulmonary fellows.
Methods: We assembled a team of two pulmonologists, one radiologist, and a fellow with computer drafting software experience.

Background: This study aims to determine the rate of surgical intervention in children with type IIA supracondylar humerus fractures (SCHF) following routine post-casting radiographic assessment. We hypothesized that no cases would convert to operative management following one-week post-casting alignment assessments.
Methods: This single-center retrospective study focused on pediatric patients diagnosed with type IIA SCHF from 2019 to 2022.

Introduction: This study aims to quantify the shear wave speed (SWS) and stiffness of the uterine cervix (close to the internal cervical ostium (IOC) which is the cranial portion of cervix and close to the external cervical ostium (EOC) which is the caudal portion of cervix), caruncular areas, and vulvar labia during the postpartum period in healthy Kivircik ewes by using shear-wave elastography. Power Doppler ultrasonography was performed to evaluate the color pixel percentage (CPP) of the caruncles.
Methods: The study included 13 healthy pregnant Kivircik ewes, which were randomly selected.

Introduction/aims: Neuromuscular ultrasound (NMUS) is gaining prominence as a valuable tool for diagnosing neuromuscular disorders at the point of care. Neuromuscular disorder diagnostic criteria guidelines have begun incorporating NMUS findings. As interest grows, fellowship programs must consider incorporating training into their curricula.
