In this paper, the data pertaining to the rainfall, its departure from normal, moving mean rainfall, depth of water levels in pre-monsoon and post-monsoon seasons, groundwater availability, groundwater utilization and impact of storage of water in large water bodies are analyzed graphically. The results indicate that the groundwater is over exploited in many places in Anantapur District (India). The groundwater levels found fluctuating, when compared the observations in pre-monsoon and post-monsoon seasons. Hence, it is concluded that the construction of water harvesting structures at suitable locations will have a definite impact on the groundwater potential in Anantapur District.

The concomitant use of herbal remedies in conjunction with conventional cardiac medications has increased significantly in recent years, primarily due to improvements in the quality standards of herbal medicines and the pervasive belief that natural products pose no harm to the human body. Contrary to this belief, multiple phytoconstituents found in herbal products have the potential to interact with conventional cardiac drugs, potentially resulting in severe adverse effects.
Objective: This review aimed to elucidate the intricacies of these interactions highlighting herbal medications that interact with established pharmaceuticals used for the treatment of cardiovascular disorders.

In the present study, the main objective is to develop an analytical method for ultra-trace level measurement of 2,6-diamino-5-nitropyrimidin-4(3H)-one (DMNP) in valganciclovir hydrochloride (VAL) using liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight-tandem mass spectroscopy (LC-QTOF-MS/MS). In the early stages of guanine synthesis, DMNP is formed, and guanine is known to be the key starting material for the synthesis of VAL. Taking into consideration DMNP potential genotoxicity, this analytical method has been developed.
