Hierarchical grid transformation is a powerful approach to SDS 2DPAGE maps warping. The hierarchy of the warping transformation is able to model both global and local deformations of the gels and the algorithm can be stopped when a certain degree of accuracy in the image alignment is obtained. The numerical optimization of the position of the nodes of the grid that are responsible for the image warping is a multivariate task that can be solved efficiently using Genetic Algorithms. The use of Genetic Algorithms ensures that an optimal position of the nodes can be defined with a low computational cost with respect to other methods. The optimal positions of the nodes of the grid can be successfully used for defining a good warping of the gels.

In the Imbalanced Multivariate Time Series Classification (ImMTSC) task, minority-class instances typically correspond to critical events, such as system faults in power grids or abnormal health occurrences in medical monitoring. Despite being rare and random, these events are highly significant. The dynamic spatial-temporal relationships between minority-class instances and other instances make them more prone to interference from neighboring instances during classification.

This research aims to identify wet-cooled CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) solar power plants connected to the existing electricity grid in Cameroon. This study uses a hybrid approach which combines an MDCM-AHP method (Multi-Criteria Analysis Method - Hierarchical Analysis Process) and a GIS (Geographic Information System). The elements studied are the climate (Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI), temperature), orography (slope and elevation) and location (proximity to the electricity network, proximity to roads and railways, proximity to homes), in order to determine the weight of these different factors and combine them to obtain the final map.

Neurodynamic observations indicate that the cerebral cortex evolved by self-organizing into functional networks, These networks, or distributed clusters of regions, display various degrees of attention maps based on input. Traditionally, the study of network self-organization relies predominantly on static data, overlooking temporal information in dynamic neuromorphic data. This paper proposes Temporal Self-Organizing (TSO) method for neuromorphic data processing using a spiking neural network.
