Background/purpose: Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) with ACURATE neo2 showed better hemodynamic outcomes by mitigating paravalvular leakage (PVL) compared with ACURATE neo, and revealed promising one-year outcomes in single-arm studies. However, studies comparing the hemodynamic and clinical outcomes of the two valves are still scarce. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the one-year hemodynamic and clinical outcomes between the neo2 and neo.

Background: The difference in survival between sleeve gastrectomy (SG) and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) remains controversial.
Objective: To investigate the comparative survival difference between SG and RYGB in adults with morbid obesity.
Setting: A meta-analysis.
Introduction: Urinary incontinence is associated with social isolation, deconditioning, depression, falls and early mortality. It impairs quality of life, even in residents of nursing homes, and, in the community, increases the risk of institutionalisation. Care focused on the preservation of dignity during intimate care is important in the care of older adults.

Background: Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) has become increasingly prevalent for treating asymptomatic abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). This study compares the early and late outcomes between EVAR and open aneurysm repair (OAR) in asymptomatic AAA patients.
Methods: A retrospective observational cohort study was conducted involving 564 patients (445 EVAR, 119 OAR) who underwent AAA repair from January 2010 to June 2022.

Introduction: This study aimed to compare the long-term outcomes in a propensity matched population receiving either minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) using left internal thoracic artery (LITA) to the left anterior descending artery (LAD) or percutaneous coronary intervention using second generation everolismus-eluting stents (DES-PCI) in patients treated for isolated proximal LAD stenosis.
Methods: Between January 2012 and December 2017, 421 patients with a nonemergency status undergoing primary isolated proximal LAD revascularization were retrospectively analyzed and were divided into two groups: 111 patients receiving MIDCAB LITA to LAD and 310 patients receiving DES-PCI. Propensity score matching selected 111 pairs and both groups were comparable for all baseline characteristics and well balanced.
