It has been shown that the dynamics of the molecular self-assembly of the components of liquids drying in the form of drops on a solid moistened surface contains information about their composition and structure. The physical mechanisms of this phenomenon have been considered. A method of recording this dynamics and retrieving useful information has been suggested. Examples of using this method in medicinal diagnosis and the assessment of the quality of food products, drugs, and liquids of domestic appliance are given.

It is desirable but remains challenging to develop high drug load amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs) without compromising their quality attributes and bio-performance. In this work, we investigated the impacts of formulation variables, such as drug loading (DL) and polymer type, on dissolution behavior, diffusive flux, and in vitro drug absorption of ASDs of a high T compound, GDC-6893. ASDs with two polymers (HPMCAS and PVPVA) and various DLs (20 - 80%) were produced by spray drying and their drug-polymer miscibility was evaluated using solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (ssNMR).

The large-scale implementation of 2D material-based membranes is hindered by mechanical stability and mass transport control challenges. This work describes the fabrication, characterisation, and testing of self-standing graphene oxide (GO) membranes cross-linked with oxides such as FeO, AlO, CaSO, NbO, and a carbide, SiC. These cross-linking agents enhance the mechanical stability of the membranes and modulate their mass transport properties.

The present study aim to investigate the effects of three drying processes on the flavor-related compounds and sensory quality of summer black tea. A total of 234 flavonoids and 1200 volatile compounds were identified in tea samples by using UPLC-MS/MS and HS-SPME-GC-MS, respectively. It was found that the combining hot-air and roasting drying process increased the level of epigallocatechin, epicatechin, gallic acid, theaflavins, and umami and sweet amino acids in tea samples.
