Paresthesia can result from some post-endodontic problems, including bacterial infections or mishaps which occur during the cleaning, shaping, and filling of the root canal. There are pharmacological and instrumental methods for the treatment of paresthesia; however, if presenting symptoms are suggestive of nerve injury, surgical approaches, such as intentional replantation, could be considered. In this case report study, we treated paresthesia that had occurred after endodontic treatment using intentional replantation.

Traumatic lip amputation is a devastating injury. No other tissue replicates its unique histology, often limiting the reconstructive outcome. Replantation is a technically challenging procedure, requiring extensive postoperative optimization, including systemic anticoagulation, leech therapy, significant blood loss, and antibiosis.

Microsurgical replantation is considered the best method to treat avulsion or amputation injuries of unique head parts, including the scalp, eyelid, nose, ear, lip, and tongue. However, there is currently no report on microsurgical replantation of substi-tutable facial tissues in the literature. This report presents a patient with avulsed facial composite tissue composed of the skin and subcutaneous layers treated by microsurgical replantation.
