Continuous quality improvement is an essential element of the accreditation process. This article describes the content and process for writing the Continuous Improvement Progress Report (CIPR) required by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the midpoint of the accreditation cycle. The rationale for writing the report and the purpose for the contents of the report are reviewed. The content of the CIPR addresses all standards and key elements of the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Degree Nursing Programs, amended April 2009. Many program administrators and faculty lack an understanding of the significance of the report, how to write the report, or what should be included. This article is designed to help guide the writers of the report through the process.

This article discusses the implementation and enhancement of an OR nurse residency program at a health care system in North Carolina. Recognizing the unique challenges and skills required in perioperative nursing, program coordinators aimed to support new nurses transitioning into the OR setting. Key enhancements included incorporating AORN's Periop 101: A Core Curriculum to provide consistent, evidence-based perioperative education and pursuing accreditation through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education to ensure the highest standards of excellence.

Purpose: A school of nursing re-envisioned its faculty organization structure and created a Shared Governance model based on the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education Standards (CCNE). The model promotes shared decision-making and encourages nursing faculty and staff to exercise greater control over their professional endeavors.
Principal Results: The Shared Governance model launched as a one semester pilot before it was formally adopted by faculty.
Background: Because of the importance of genetics and genomics for health care, efforts to promote inclusion of genetics and genomics in undergraduate nursing programs has increased in the past 20 years. However, the success of these efforts has not been measured recently.
Method: Information from Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education accredited 4-year baccalaureate nursing programs in the United States was searched, and program administrators were surveyed regarding inclusion of genetics and genomics in program requirements.

Background: The current state of nursing education is concerning, with nearly two-thirds of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) -accredited universities reporting that their nursing graduates are ill-prepared to care for the LGBTQIA+ community (Eickhoff, 2021). This lack of training is alarming, given the ongoing reports of LGBTQIA+ healthcare discrimination and the insufficient knowledge of nursing faculty to guide future nurses in caring for this patient population (Hughes et al., 2022).
