In resource-limited areas, where accurate weight-for-height Z-scores are hard to obtain, Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) is a simple tool to identify wasted children. MUAC alone, however, may miss identification of many wasted children, leading to untimely intervention and potentially death. Our study aimed to identify the best-performing case definition to detect wasting by Weight-for-Height z-scores (WHZ) in Filipino children aged 6-59 months.

The article presents an analysis of 2 clinical cases of granulomatosis with polyangiitis from the practice of an otorhinolaryngologist. In the first case, the pathology manifested with lesions of the middle ear and nose. In the second case, in addition to manifestations from the nose and the ear, there was a lesion of the larynx.

Purpose: The rarity of breast mucinous carcinoma (BMC) makes it challenging to study the prognosis of this disease across diverse racial populations. This study aimed to leverage epidemiological data on immigrant populations to elucidate the prognostic differences in BMC patients from various racial/ethnic backgrounds. The goal was to help formulate more personalized clinical practice guidelines for the management of this rare malignancy.

Introduction: The primary objective of this study was to assess the 3-dimensional position of the mandibular canal (MC) in different craniofacial patterns to know about the safe placement of temporary skeletal anchorage devices using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). The secondary objectives were to assess sex differences and correlate the MC position with various factors.
Methods: This prospective, observational study was conducted on 90 patients, divided into 3 groups based on the sagittal pattern: skeletal Class I, Class II, and Class III.
