Memristors and magnetic tunnel junctions are showing great potential in data storage and computing applications. A magnetoelectrically coupled memristor utilizing electron spin and electric field-induced ion migration can facilitate their operation, uncover new phenomena, and expand applications. In this study, devices consisting of Pt/(LaCoO/SrTiO)/LaCoO/Nb:SrTiO (Pt/(LCO/STO)/LCO/NSTO) are engineered using pulsed laser deposition to form the LCO/STO superlattice layer, with Pt and NSTO serving as the top and bottom electrodes, respectively.

Over the past decade, most of researches on the communication between the neurons are based on synapses. However, the changes in action potentials in neurons may produce complex electromagnetic fields in the media, which may also have an impact on the electrical activity of neurons. To explore this factor, we construct a two-layer neuronal network composed of identical Hindmarsh-Rose neurons.

This study delves into the examination of a network of adaptive synapse neurons characterized by a small-world network topology connected through electromagnetic flux and infused with randomness. First, this research extensively explores the existence of the global multi-stability of a single adaptive synapse-based neuron model with magnetic flux. The non-autonomous neuron model exhibits periodically switchable equilibrium states that are strongly related to the transitions between stable and unstable points in every whole periodic cycle, leading to the creation of global multi-stability.

Neuromorphic computation has emerged as a potential alternative to subvert the von Neumann bottleneck issue in conventional computing. In this context, the development of resistive switching-based memristor devices mimicking various synaptic functionalities has engendered paramount attention. Here, we report a triradical-containing trinuclear Pd(II) cluster with a cyclohexane-like framework constituted by the Pd-Se coordination motif displaying facile memristor property with neuromorphic functionality as a thin-film device.

This article is concerned with dynamic analysis and neural-adaptive prescribed-time control of the magnetic-field electromechanical transducer incorporating a memristor. First, a fractional-order (FO) mathematical model is developed, which comprehensively characterizes fractional properties of various dielectrics and establishes the relationship between magnetic flux and electric charge. The dynamical analysis explores internal evolution and complexity performance concerning a single factor or double factors among the FO, system parameter, and memristor configuration by the Bifurcation diagram, sample entropy, and C complexity from multiple perspectives.
