In the cation of the title compound, C(7)H(12)ClN(2)Se(+)·Cl(-), the ethyl-ene groups and the Se-Cl fragment adopt a cis configuration with a C-Se-Cl angle of 96.09 (6)°. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds link two cations and two chlorine anions into centrosymmetric clusters. π-π inter-actions between the pyrazole rings [centroid-centroid distance of 3.530 (2) Å] link these clusters into columns along [001] with short inter-molecular Se⋯Cl(-) contacts of 2.995 (1) Å.

The rapidly increased efficiency of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) indicates their broad commercial prospects, but the commercialization of perovskite faces complex optimization processes and stability issues. In this work, a simple optimized strategy is developed by the addition of trimethylgermanium chloride (TGC) into FACsPbI precursor solution. TGC triggers the successive interactions in perovskite solution and film, involving the hydrolysis of vulnerable Ge─Cl bond forming Ge─OH group, then forming the hydrogen bonds (O─H···N and O─H···I) with FAI.

Instant and refrigerated acid soaking are commonly used in cocoon production to prevent or break diapause, and provide developable silkworm eggs for sericulture, while their mechanisms have not been fully understood. This study aims to investigate the mechanisms by which hydrochloric acid (HCl) or dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) promotes embryonic development in silkworm Bombyx mori, focusing on the chloride ion (Cl) related gene expression profiles. Our results revealed that the HCl treatment of up to 6 min enhanced hatchability in freshly picked and cold-stored eggs, whereas a slight decrease in hatchability was observed in those treated with DMSO for 40 min.

Herein, choline chloride/oxalic acid (ChCl/OA) and choline chloride/oxalic acid/ethylene glycol (ChCl/OA/EG) pretreatments of oil palm empty fruit bunches (EFB) and mesocarp fibers (MSF) were conducted to achieve protection of the lignin structure, while improving the enzymatic efficiency of the solid residues. Under the operating conditions of 90 °C and 6 h, ChCl/OA/EG demonstrated a higher lignin extraction selectivity and obtained solid residues with higher hemicellulose content compared to ChCl/OA. The digestibility of glucan and xylan in solid residues obtained using ChCl/OA/EG achieved 98.
