Background: Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is characterized by intense central inflammation, leading to substantial post-hemorrhagic complications such as vasospasm and delayed cerebral ischemia. Given the anti-inflammatory effect of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) and its ability to promote brain plasticity, taVNS has emerged as a promising therapeutic option for SAH patients. However, the effects of taVNS on cardiovascular dynamics in critically ill patients, like those with SAH, have not yet been investigated.

Aims: Atherosclerosis is a life-threatening disease that develops when a plaque builds up inside an artery and progresses silently. Identifying the early pathological changes and the biomarkers of atherosclerosis deserves attention. We aimed to systematically study and integrate the various metabolites of atherosclerosis in the level of disease to provide more evidences to support early prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis.

Objectives: Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and coronary artery disease (CAD) are major contributors to global morbidity and mortality. Many PAD patients remain asymptomatic for CAD, which often leads to undetected coronary artery involvement. This hidden coronary disease poses significant risks, particularly following peripheral revascularization, as increased cardiac demand can precipitate complications.

Introduction: Silent myocardial ischemia (SMI) is a significant concern for diabetic patients, often remaining undetected until severe complications arise. Prolonged hyperglycemia, poor glycemic control, and lifestyle factors contribute to its risk, with older adults and those with long-standing diabetes particularly vulnerable.
Objective: To assess the prevalence and predictors of SMI in adults with diabetes, emphasizing long-term management and monitoring.
