Esohophageal stents are often used in treating malignant stricture. But, when stents are placed across the esophagogastric junction, they may lead to esophagogastric reflux. We report a case of successfully treated esophagogastric strictures using the new stent with anti-reflux mechanism (long cover type Niti-S™ esophageal stent). A 78-year-old man presenting with severe strictures from the lower esophagus to cardiac part of stomach was histopathologically diagnosed as adenocarcinoma. CT scan images showed multiple liver metastatic tumors. However, he refused chemotherapy. Palliation using long cover type Niti-S™ esophageal stent was performed. No adverse effect was occurred. He started solid meals on the 7th postoperative day. He was thereafter able to ingest solid meals without the symptom of esophgogastric reflux and stenosis until he died of the primary disease two month later.

Background: The aim of this study was to report our technical experience and mid-term outcomes of robot-assisted redo ureteral reimplantation in adults following failed primary ureteral reimplantation.
Methods: Twelve patients underwent robot-assisted redo ureteral reimplantation from December 2020 to May 2022 at double centers. Surgical procedures included anti-reflux dismembered submucosal tunnel reimplantation, anti-reflux dismembered nipple reimplantation, and anti-reflux non-dismembered submucosal tunnel reimplantation.

Introduction: Stents with anti-reflux properties have been previously described in various studies but not widely adopted. We designed, constructed and tested a novel umbrella-looking anti-reflux skirt on a double J stent at the level of the ureteral orifice in a previous ex-vivo study. This study serves as a proof of concept of testing this prototype in a porcine model.

Case Presentation: A 37-year-old female was referred to our hospital for treatment of left renal stone. She underwent anti-reflux surgery (Cohen reimplantation) for left vesicoureteral reflux at the age of 10 years.

Objective: To compare the stent-related symptoms (SRS) of three commonly used, readily accessible ureteric JJ stents after uncomplicated flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy (FURL), in a prospective randomised controlled single-blind parallel-group study, in order to see whether structural difference might influence SRS.
Patients And Methods: Patients undergoing FURL were randomised into three groups: the Cook Group received conventional 6 F Cook Universa Soft JJ stents as control, the Kang Yi Bo (KYB) Group received 6 F KYB anti-reflux JJ stents, and the Urovision Group received 7 F Urovision Visiostar ESWL JJ stents. The ureteric stent symptom questionnaire (USSQ) was administered at 1 week, 4 weeks (before stent removal), and 5 weeks (one week after stent removal as baseline evaluation) after stent insertion.
