It has been expected that stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) is one of the useful treatments for non-resectable early lung cancer. In the case radiotherapy was thought to be difficult due to the wideness of irradiation area, it is probable to undergo chemo-radiotherapy safely using SRT for a primary lesion. We report two cases of Stage III non-small-cell lung cancer, which underwent SRT for primary tumors following chemo-radiotherapy for the lymph node metastasis. In both two cases, a reduction of V₂₀ (the normal pulmonary volume to receive radiation exposure: more than 20 Gy) was a possibility, and symptomatic radiation pneumonitis was not observed.

Background: Guidelines recommend the extension of the pelvic radiotherapy volume to the para-aortic region in locally advanced cervical cancer and ≥3 suspicious pelvic lymph nodes (PLN) on imaging. Whether this recommendation is also valid for clinically early stages is uncertain. The objective of this study was to investigate the para-aortic (PAO) lymph node recurrence rate in patients with early-stage cervical cancer, ≥3 metastatic PLN, and negative common iliac nodes after a radical hysterectomy followed by pelvic (chemo)radiotherapy without extension to the PAO region.

Introduction: T-lymphopenia (TLP) is a frequently observed condition in cancer patients, often exacerbated by conventional chemo/radiotherapy, which impairs the efficacy of subsequent immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy. This study aimed to understand the impact of TLP on ICB responsiveness and explore potential therapeutic strategies to enhance antitumor immunity.
Methods: To investigate ICB responsiveness depending on the severity of TLP, first, we established TLP mouse models that mimic clinically observed mild and severe TLP through thymectomy and anti-Thy1-induced peripheral T cell depletion.

P53-abnormal endometrial carcinomas are high-grade and aggressive tumors which should be treated with chemo-/radiotherapy. In low-grade endometrioid carcinoma (LGEC), abnormal expression of p53 is an exceptional finding and is typically accompanied by patchy p16 positivity and diffuse hormone receptor expression. Herein, we report a case of LGEC exhibiting both p53 and p16 overexpression, highlighting the diagnostic pitfalls related to such phenotype.

Background: Axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) is an essential step in the management of breast cancer. ALND is conventionally performed using radio frequency electrosurgery. The post-operative complications of utilizing such energy (such as prolonged drainage time, seroma, or infection) lead to prolonged recovery.

Background: Most challenging treatment needs are in recurrent or persisting head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) patients after (((chemo-)radiotherapy) (C)RT).
Materials And Methods: This 10-year retrospective study included 100 patients, who initially received (C)RT followed by neck dissection (ND). The results of computed tomography (CT) and sonography were evaluated for residual/recurrent cervical lymph nodes and compared to the histopathology.
