We present the case of an 18-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted with transanal forearm penetration resulting in a fourth-degree perineal laceration. Fisting is an uncommon sexual practice consisting in the penetration of the vagina, anus, or both of them with fingers, hand (fist) or forearm.Perineal lacerations are a relatively common finding in both consensual and nonconsensual fisting victims.

Introduction: Colorectal cancer is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Australia. Recent clinical trials show that the recurrence of colorectal cancer decreases with chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy in advanced disease. The present study aimed to document the patterns of care by the type of treatment, document the preoperative investigations and provide results to the Area Health Services.

This report is based on 45 of these patients with microscopic extension of disease beyond the gland and a minimum 5-year followup. Of the patients 22 received adjuvant external beam radiation therapy and 23 did not.
