Background: Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is an effective treatment for treatment-resistant depression (TRD). There are limited data on the improvement of anxiety symptoms in patients receiving ECT for TRD.
Objective: The aim of the study was to examine the extent to which anxiety symptom severity improves, relative to improvements in depressive symptoms, in TRD patients receiving an acute course of ECT.

: Eosinophilic pneumonias denote a rare condition, wherein infiltrating eosinophilic granulocytes accumulate within the lung parenchyma. Although eosinophilic pneumonias may be idiopathic, they are also associated with secondary causes. More than 110 medications have been linked to eosinophilic pneumonia, including several antidepressants.

Background: Nephrogenic diabetes insipidus is a rare, often underrecognized complication of long-term lithium therapy. Lithium-induced nephrogenic diabetes insipidus results from chronic renal exposure, leading to significant polyuria, dehydration, and hypernatremia.
Case Presentation: We describe a case of a 55-year-old White caucasian male with a schizoaffective disorder managed with lithium who presented with altered mental status and electrolyte abnormalities following a recent stroke.
