It is established that the Bacillus sp. C-14 strain is able to produce the biosurfactant of lipopeptide nature which decreases the surface and interfacial tension to 29.5 and 2.0 mH/m, respectively. The biosurfactant synthesis is shown to depend on the substrate nature, N:C ratio in the medium as well as on the presence of sodium citrate as a stimulator of lipogenesis.
