The concept of "quality" in relation to the treatment of pain is an obligation for institutions and professionals as well as a right for patients. It is worthwhile recalling the importance of the nurse's role in treating pain and in particular in its assessment. Assessment can only be carried out with the use of adapted and validated tools and the support of the whole team. A department-wide project is therefore necessary.

Purpose: Physical activity (PA) is associated with better quality of life for cancer survivors; however, less is known about this association among individuals with advanced cancer. This study assesses whether changes in PA following an advanced cancer diagnosis are associated with health-related quality of life (HRQoL) outcomes.

Background: In the phase 3 ORIENT-11 study, sintilimab plus pemetrexed-platinum provided statistically significant longer overall survival and progression-free survival versus placebo plus pemetrexed-platinum as first-line treatment in patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Introduction: Van Wyk-Grumbach Syndrome (VWGS) is a rare pediatric endocrinological disorder characterized by hypothyroidism, delayed bone age, enlarged multicystic ovaries, and precocious puberty. It results from prolonged hypothyroidism, affecting the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. This report describes a 7-year-old girl presenting with vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain, leading to a diagnosis of VWGS with bilateral inguinal hernia and requiring surgical intervention.
