Background: Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) with onset in youth may be more consequential for adverse outcomes than that detected later in adulthood. Background: Allowing a birth companion is the basic right of a mother and is identified as an important component of respectful maternity care. The implementation of this intervention has been a challenge in heavy-load public health facilities in India.
Local Problem: Despite the proven benefits of the presence of birth companions on maternal-fetal outcomes, there was no policy of allowing birth companions in our hospital.

Mass vaccination against peste des petits ruminants (PPR) in two southern states of India, namely Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, has reduced disease outbreaks significantly. The sporadic outbreaks reported now can be attributed in part to the recurring movement of sheep and goats between these contiguous states. This study assessed the present level of economic burden and impact of vaccination on the local system (one state), considering the exposure from the external system (neighboring state) using a system dynamic (SD) model.

A series of in vitro studies were conducted to explore the anti-methanogenic potential of five seaweeds collected from the Indian sea and to optimize the level(s) of incorporation of the most promising seaweed(s) into a straw and concentrate diet to achieve a significant reduction in methane (CH) production without disturbing rumen fermentation characteristics.
