Article Abstract
Liposuction is an integral part of the wide range of surgical procedures in dermatology. Dermatologists established tumescent local anesthesia in combination with the use of micro-cannulas; especially dermatologists from Germany and Austria actively designed and developed these new techniques. In this position paper, we discuss the history, various interdisciplinary aspects, the significance, and the treatment indications for this procedure as well as its role within dermatologic training programs and research. For quality reasons, members of the Germany Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Austrian Society of Dermatologic Surgery discuss several fundamental professional aspects as well as the historical development of liposuction.

A working group convened by the Section of Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology of the Polish Neurological Society, the Polish Society of Family Medicine, and the Polish Society of Vaccinology has developed a consensus on supplementary data to the recommendations of the expert group of the Polish Society of Vaccinology, the Polish Society of Family Medicine, the Polish Dermatological Society, the Polish Association for the Study of Pain, and the Polish Neurological Society, and ECTRIMS/EAN of 2023 with regard to the currently available in Poland recombinant herpes zoster vaccine (RZV). It is intended for the prevention of herpes zoster and postherpetic neuralgia in individuals aged > 50 and individuals aged ≥ 18 who belong to herpes zoster risk groups. In Poland it is available with 50% reimbursement exclusively for patients aged 65 and older who have an increased risk of developing herpes zoster.

Basal cell carcinoma is the most common skin malignancy and constitutes a burden for patients and society. Mohs micrographic surgery is a recommended treatment for high-risk basal cell carcinoma, but long-term outcomes of Mohs micrographic surgery in Denmark are unknown. This study aimed to estimate the 5-year recurrence rate of basal cell carcinoma following Mohs micrographic surgery, and to investigate patient and procedure characteristics since the introduction of the procedure in Denmark.

Methodology: A systematic search was conducted on PubMed, the Cochrane Library, and Elsevier's Science Direct databases to identify studies comparing TNF alpha inhibitors with other drugs in CS patients who had heart failure.
