Our case series concerns eight patients affected by epithelial cancer of the ovary. The immune scintigraphical examination with B 72.3-I-131 monoclonal antibody was carried out as a follow-up after surgical therapy with chemo- and/or radio-therapy. The results were compared with traditional diagnostic methods (CT, pelvic echography etc.). The immunoscintigraphy confirmed the presence of local relapses in seven patients, correlating positively with the results of conventional enquiries. The conclusions, although relating to a limited number of cases, are satisfactory and seem to indicate important diagnostic possibilities to the end of follow-up in patients affected by ovarian cancer.

Purpose: To assess trial-level surrogacy value for overall survival (OS) of the pathologic complete response (pCR) and invasive disease-free survival (iDFS) in randomized clinical trials (RCTs) for early breast cancer (BC).
Methods: Individual patient data of neoadjuvant RCTs with available data on pCR, iDFS, and OS were included in the analysis. We used the coefficient of determination from weighted linear regression models to quantify the association between treatment effects on OS and on the surrogate end points.

Introduction: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a heterogeneous endocrine-metabolic syndrome mainly characterized by ovarian dysfunction, which is only one manifestation of a more complex syndrome with a significant systemic impact.
Evidence Acquisition: We review scientific literature on the pathophysiology and diagnosis of PCOS evaluating the most relevant data from original articles, reviews and meta-analyses published until June 2024.
Evidence Synthesis: From a pathophysiological point of view, the concurrence of both metabolic aspects, such as insulin resistance and obesity, and hormonal alterations, such as hyperandrogenemia, might produce the most relevant clinical signs and/symptoms of this syndrome, for instance menstrual irregularities, hair loss, acne and hirsutism.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the long-term impact of mild COVID-19 infection and COVID-19 vaccination on ovarian function in patients undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART). Specifically, we assessed ovarian outcomes between 9 and 18 months post-infection and investigated the effects of COVID-19 vaccines (inactivated virus and adenovirus) on reproductive parameters.
Methods: The study included two objectives: (a) examining ovarian function in post-COVID-19 patients (9-18 months post-infection) compared to a control group and (b) comparing reproductive outcomes in vaccinated versus unvaccinated patients.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic performance of Follicle numbers measured on ultrasound (US), conventional magnetic resonance imaging (2D MRI), and three-dimensional (3D) MRI in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and to compare the diagnostic efficacy of these imaging modalities.
Method: In this prospective study, 58 PCOS patients and 60 healthy women underwent US, conventional 2D MRI, and 3D MRI. Clinical laboratory tests and ovarian volume were compared between PCOS and control groups.

Background: Ovarian cancer (OC) represents a common neoplasm within the female reproductive tract. The prognosis for patients diagnosed at advanced stages is unfavorable, primarily attributable to the absence of reliable screening markers for early detection. An elevated neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) serves as an indicator of host inflammatory response and has been linked to poorer overall survival (OS) across various cancer types; however, its examination in OC remains limited.
