Objective: Endoscopic arytenoid abduction lateropexy (EAAL) is a minimally invasive surgical technique for the immediate management of bilateral vocal fold palsy (BVFP). Specifically, it achieves a stable and adequate airway by lateralizing the arytenoid cartilage without resecting laryngeal structures. Thus, this study evaluated the effect of EAAL on swallowing in cases of BVFP.

Background: Approximately 103 million people across the globe suffer from symptomatic lumbar spinal stenosis, impacting their health and quality of life. The unilateral biportal endoscopic technique is effective for treating single-segment degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis and is seen as a viable alternative to traditional open lumbar laminectomy. However, research on the application of this technique for multilevel lumbar spinal stenosis remains lacking.

Introduction: Segmental Odontomaxillary Dysplasia (SOD) is a non-hereditary, unilateral developmental anomaly recently included in the WHO's classification of head and neck tumors.
Case Presentation: Here, we report the case of an 8-year-old boy presenting with unilateral maxillary enlargement and pain without facial asymmetry. Computed tomography revealed a hypodense area in the maxillary bone with altered bone structure and osseous expansion.

Two patients of early adolescence age presented with medically resistant primary dysmenorrhoea. Imaging (MRI scan) confirmed an asymmetric uterine septum with a unilaterally obstructed horn with haematometra. Laparotomy and Tompkins metroplasty was performed to unify the uterine cavity in each case, a technique not used for this condition before.
