Aim: The objective of this study was to analyze the application of PA agent that improves the bond strength of root dentin treated with NaOCl.

Materials And Methods: Group 1: root canals were irrigated using 0.9% isotonic saline as an irrigant (negative control); Group 2: root canals were irrigated using 5.25% NaOCl (positive control); Group 3: root canals were irrigated with 5.25% NaOCl followed by 10% sodium ascorbate for 10 minutes; Group 4: root canals were irrigated with 5.25% NaOCl followed by 5% PA for 10 minutes. All the canals were then coated with self-etch dentin bonding agent, filled with resin cement, stored for one day in water, and then cross sectioned into three slabs of 2-mm thickness that were prepared and tested for microtensile bond strength.

Results: The results demonstrated that 5.25% NaOCl caused significant reduction (P<0.05) in the bond strength, but this can be reversed by 5% PA significantly more than the 10% sodium ascorbate.

Salinity is one of the abiotic stress factors that affect plant physiology and cause various plant disorders. Thiourea, which consists of amino, thiol, and imino groups, is an antioxidant and growth regulator. The objective was to determine the antioxidant role of thiourea (0, 3, 6 mM) in attenuating the effects of salinity (0 mM, 50 mM, 100 mM NaCl) on growth, yield, and some biochemical compositions of flax ( L.

Unlabelled: Auxin response factors (ARFs) are important transcription factors that regulate the expression of auxin response genes, thus play crucial roles in plant growth and development. However, the functions of genes in bermudagrass ( L.), a turfgrass species of great economic value, remain poorly understood.

Root caries present a significant challenge in dentistry. The unsatisfactory prognosis of restorative treatments requires novel, noninvasive preventive strategies. Here, we developed an amelogenin-derived peptide-modified poly(amidoamine), PAMAM-C11, to prevent demineralization in caries lesions and control periodontal destruction.

BACKGROUND This cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) endodontics study aimed to compare the canal-centering ability and canal transportation of Edgefile X7 and HyFlex EDM files in moderately curved mesiobuccal (MB) root canals of 30 mandibular first permanent molar teeth. MATERIAL AND METHODS Thirty permanent mandibular first molars with 10° and 24° of mesial root curvature were selected and scanned with CBCT. Two experimental groups of 15 each were made: group I: HyFlex EDM, and group II: Edgefile X7.
